Dyfi Osprey project. A pair of Ospreys nested on the estuary near Dyfi junction again this summer and reared three chicks. The ospreys have now all left for warmer climes but we’re hoping some, if not all, will return next Spring. The chicks have all been micro-chipped so are being constantly tracked. www.dyfiospreyproject.com Follow the updates on twitter...dyfi ospreys.

We would strongly recommend the Riverside Inn at Pennal. This is owned by Glyn, who used to manage the Penhelig Arms in Aberdovey, and his wife, Corina. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the food is really excellent. It is also very popular so it is wise to make a reservation in advance. www.riversidehotel-pannal.co.uk
