APARTMENT 5 is accessed from the carparking area via a small hardwood bridge leading onto a large hardwood decked terrace, again with fantastic views over the estuary. There is an all weather wicker furniture set seating up to four people and a gas barbeque. The door leads into the lounge/dining/kitchen area with oak floors, and underfloor heating, The oak kitchen is fitted with a Smeg double oven, ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washer/dryer. Royal Doulton cutlery, Viners crockery and Viners kitchen utensils are also provided as are starter provisions such as tea, coffee, sugar, flour, wine vinegar, oil, kitchen roll, cling film and foil. An iron and iroining board are also provided.

All our water comes from our own deepwater spring which is then UV filtered to provide a sparklingly pure source for drinking and bathing.

The lounge, which hs views across the estuary, is furnished to a very high standard with two matching leather sofas, a solid oak and glass table to seat four. There is a flatscreen TV with built in DVD player and freeview, and a separate CD system.

Bedroom 1 has vaulted ceilings and views of the estuary. It has 2 fitted wardrobes, drawer storage, and luxurious 3’ zip and link beds. A hairdryer is also provided.

Bedroom 2 also has views of the estuary and is furnished in oak. There is a single luxury bed and a pine wardrobe and bedside table.

The fully tiled luxury shower room is equipped with an electric Mira shower, oak vanity unit with basin, toilet and a sensor operated illuminated mirror.

Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay.

Heating is provided by an electric underfloor system and is included in the cost of your stay.

The apartment is also wi-fi enabled.

Teraccotta herb garden
We have planted a small area with seasonal herbs in terracotta pots, Please pick any you wish to use. You should be able to find parsley, chives, bay, mint, thyme, rosemary, and oregano, depending on their season. Please water the pots if you feel they are in need - a small watering can is provided by the pots

There is plenty of car parking within the grounds of the Old Stables and a remote control is provided within your apartment for opening the electric entrance gates.

Short breaks are charged at the following rates :
3 nights at 65% of the full weekly rental
4 nights at 75% of the full weekly rental
5 nights at 85% of the full weekly rental
6 nights by negotiation

For those interested in the bird & wildlife of the local area we can arrange day trips with local naturalist Bob Relph, who will pick you up from your apartment and take you for a days guided birdwatching. Dyfi Osprey project. A pair of Ospreys nested on the estuary near Dyfi junction again this summer and reared three chicks. The ospreys have now all left for warmer climes but we’re hoping some, if not all, will return next Spring. The chicks have all been micro-chipped so are being constantly tracked.
